"I went out to my car one day to find the driver's window down. The only problem was it was rolled up when I left it. The glass was intact, but the window itself had just slipped down into the door and wouldn't roll back up.

"I'm a do-it-yourself-er, so I turned to the internet for advice. It turns out that the window regulator had broken. I found directions on how to replace it, but it was a bit beyond my skill set, and the part itself wasn't cheap.
